Registration for Fall Semester ESL & GED Classes

Welcome new and returning students!

  • All registration takes place in Room 206 of Stone School
    2800 Stone School Road, Ann Arbor 48105
  • Do not be late or you will miss the placement test.
  • There is no childcare so please do not bring children.
  • You do not have to live in Ann Arbor to take AAPS Adult Ed classes.

For ESL (English As A Second Language)

Come and make an appointment to register for Fall 2010 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on August 19, 20 or 23. There are a limited number of spaces and registration is on a first come, first served basis on August 23 and 24.

You must be 19 years old and have a passport with a visa, a green card or a social security card. Level 2, 3 and 4 ESL classes start Tuesday, September 7, and run every weekday, Monday through Friday.  Sorry, no night ESL classes.

For GED Preparation

Registration for Fall Semester begins Monday, August 23, and will run every Monday (except for September 7, Labor Day, which is a holiday) from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. There will be evening class from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Stone School Mondays and Wednesdays, and day class from 10:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Malletts Creek Library on Mondays and Thursdays. Classes start the week of September 20. You must be at least 18 years old and bring your driver's license or state ID to registration.
